Prevent unauthorised use of your telephone, fax or dial up Internet connection and save money on your phone bill. The Internet and phone guard is fitted over the existing telephone wall socket. You can store up to 20 telephone numbers or area codes into your "allowed list". Only numbers you choose to store in your 'allowed list' can be dialled. So, for example, if you don't put your internet provider's number in your 'allowed list', it can't be called. You can turn the unit off so that any number can be dialled, turn it back on so that only the numbers in your 'allowed list' can be dialled. When a call is dialled that is not on the 'allowed list', an alarm will sound and the lamp will light up red. Following this, the call will be terminated and you will hear a dial tone on your telephone handset. Your internet and phone guard can be remotely controlled from anywhere in the world using any touch tone phone (digital) telephone with keys marked '#' and '*'.
