For use where an S-Video signal needs to be connected to a Scart-equipped TV Monitor, typically in an A/V system using a separate surround sound amplifier. This cable is directional. Signal directions must be followed as indicated on the S-Video connector. Signals travel from the S-Video connector to the Scart plug. Applications include: A/V amplifier to TV, A/V amplifier to S-VHS video recorder (for recording only), S-VHS video recorder to TV.
