Live Event Filming

The process of live event filming differs significantly from all other types of film and video production, in that those responsible for capturing the essence and mood of the event must be experienced and professional enough to respond to instant changes, and to catch those ‘off camera’ moments that can often occur when least expected.

Last minute problems arise both of a technical and social nature and it is vital therefore to ensure that the event filming team can respond immediately and creatively to challenges that occur during the event itself, ensuring that all of the best aspects of the event are captured in a timely and effective manner.

In addition to the high levels of reactive and responsive camerawork required when live event filming, our multiple camera option ensures that appropriate audience cutaways and reaction shots are filmed and made available for the editing process. This can be especially effective for those events where audience participation, reaction and response are required.

On these occasions, multiple cameras made be made available, with one or two charged with the task of ‘roving’ the auditorium to capture those moments from as many angles as possible.
