Rover MGF Super Sports

First revealed at the 1998 Geneva Motor Show, this MGF concept is billed as "a modern weekend race car that is equally at home on road or track." It is powered by a supercharged version of the K Series 1.8 litre engine and utilises a race specification suspension developed from the 1998 MGF Cup UK race series.The design study also explores a number of ideas relevant to the development of lightweight sports cars, including the use of aluminium body panels, carbon fibre composites, and high power small capacity engines.
