Dr. Rhodri Evans is based at Cardiff University’s School of Physics and Astronomy. After obtaining his BSc in physics and his PhD in astrophysics, he worked in the United States for nine years. This included six years at the University of Chicago, where he became involved in airborne astronomy. He is part of the team which has built the far infrared camera for the SOFIA observatory.
He regularly contributes to TV and radio, and has given public lectures to audiences throughout the world. He has also written several popular books, details of these and his regular blog can be found at his website http://rheastro.com.
